I am a Career Technical Education teacher at Grandview Middle School. I currently teach Keyboarding and Basic Word Processing and Computer Science Discoveries.
Keyboarding and Basic Word Processing
Students will develop skills in touch typing and proper keyboarding technique. As students learn touch typing, speed and accuracy will be emphasized. Basic word processing will also be covered in class. Students will use the Canvas Learning Management System to access and submit assignments.
Computer Science Discoveries
Students are introduced to computer science as a vehicle for problem solving, communication, and personal expression. Students will use code.org to progress through the course. Students are able to access code.org from their chromebooks with Internet access.
